More burgers

Today I hit a random place in East LA. Chronis Famous Sandwich Shop.

I got a simple cheeseburger and it was fantastic. Great bun, plenty of mustard and pickles and plenty of lettuce. Next time I'll have to try a dog or pastrami. Super fast and friendly service. Lots of parking and plenty of outdoor seating.

Average burger stop in LA. made to order, good value for the money. Menu is good and has Mexican as well. Friendly service. Will have to stop by again for more menu items.

My first adventure was to Top's Jr. in Alhambra. This is an old school hamburger spot with pastrami as a featured item. I went for the single cheeseburger combo (burger, fries and drink) which was a great value. Bun was fresh, thin patty. plenty of lettuce and pickles. Fries were thin and plentiful. I'll have to go back for the pastrami. Well worth the drive. On to the next spot.

This place is open late. Not sure why there is a truck right out side with the same menu but all I can think of is this place gets busy at night. Usual fare of food. Burritos and tacos are the best. Salsa bar is great. clean and a good selection of salsas. If i'm ever coming back from Long Beach i hit them up.

Lunch and dinner are busy. Having one more taking orders might speed up things a bit. the salsa bar is a bit messy. overall all the food there is great. Asada fries seem to be a favorite among the regulars. I love the tacos and burritos. Nice flavor and heat. it's a regular place it hit

Most of the time the tacos and burritos are well made. I find when they are busy quality goes down a bit. But by far one if my favorite places in the south bay

It's been a long time since my last post. sorry to the one or two people out there thinking i was going to write about every place. i still intend to. however i've moved to the south bay where its harder to find trucks. still plenty of taco shops so stay tuned.
